This is the story of how the three packs were created. I hope you all find it interesting!

Once, not a very long time ago, there was four Spiritwolves. Sairva, the giver of strength and courage, Grazkai, the giver of knowledge and wings, Jaynme, the guide, and Kiinad, the giver of life and death. They lived in harmony, giving all the lone wolves what they needed to survive the wilderness. Sairva and Grazkai were not much needed in that time, so they would just wander around the clouds, occasionally stopping to observe the wolves and see if their time had finally come to be of some use. None of the wolves ever really needed strength or courage, because they hardly ever even came across one another in the forest of Ajiss. But one day, while Sairva and Grazkai were laying side by side, watching a wolf named Kree hunting, they saw something interesting. Kree was stalking a snowshoe hare through the deep snow, but another wolf called Sanquoia was also stalking the same deer. They knew that Sanquoia was very hard to get along with, as almost all the wolves were because they never interacted with each other. Kree was friendly enough, but if Sanquoia caught him hunting the same deer as she was, he would be in trouble! But they knew that this could be their chance to use their skills so they agreed not to warn Kree, even though they knew that Jaynme and Kiinad would not be pleased. So they watched excitedly as the two wolves drew closer and closer, and both came out of the woods and into a large clearing at the same time. Sanquoia, suddenly smelling Kree and forgetting the deer, spun around and faced Kree.
"What do you think you're doing? That was my deer!" Growled Sanquoia.
"No, it was mine!" Growled Kree back as they rounded on each other. Sairva then knew it was her time to act. She gathered up all her strength, and let the power of strength and courage flow through her. Then she directed the power at the two wolves, and she could feel them growing stronger and braver. As they launched in to battle, teeth jaws snapping and claws scratching, She could feel them growing stronger still even though she could see their thick coats spattered with blood. By that time, Kiinad and Jaynme were beside Sairva and Grazkai, both bristling with anger.
"What have you done?" Growled Jaynme with disbelief.
"We have avoided battle for years, yet now you let it start freely?" Kiinad was staring down at the wolves, with sadness in his deep green eyes because he knew that the time would come soon where he would have to go to the forest and welcome Kree, Sanquoia or both into the clouds. Sairva looked down at the battling pair again, but now feeling their fragile mortal lives slipping slowly away. At last, Sanquoia was pinned down under Kree's strong paws, panting and blood flowing from many wounds, the most fatal of which was a long, deep scratch on her belly. Kree was also bleeding, but not so much as Sanquoia. Kiinad sighed, stepped through the cloud and floated down to the earth on his huge, black wings. As he landed, Sanquoia's amber eyes widened in shock. Kiinad was only visible to the dead or dying, so Sanquoia could see him, but Kree could not. As he padded slowly towards the two, Kree was taking his paws off Sanquoia and laying down on the now bloodstained grass, panting. Kiinad came up to Sanquoia and rested his silky black furred head on her chest, his green eyes locking on to her amber ones. As she slowly fell under his spell of death, Kiinad could feel her pulse slowing... slowing... then coming to a stop. Now he lifted his head high and howled, a howl that all could hear. Then he looked back down at Sanquoia's still body. Then her eyes suddenly turned a bright silver, glowing with the light of her spirit. Then a glowing wolf who looked exactly like her but with wings and no wounds appearing out of the chest wound that had caused her death.
"Are you ready to come with me?" Kiinad asked quietly.
"Yes, Kiinad. Answered Sanquoia. And with that, they both took flight and joined Jaynme, Sairva and Grazkai in the sky. Kree, noticing nothing but how Sanquoia was now unmoving, got up weakly and limped into the woods. meanwhile, other wolves had heard the sound of battle and came to the clearing for a closer look. Seeing each other, they growled and bared their teeth. The Spiritwolves, noticing the wolves in the clearing, all floated down and make themselves visible.
"Stop!" They barked in unison, making all the wolves eyes widen.
"We are the Spiritwolves, and we command you to stop!" The wolves shrank back, and the Spirits spoke again.
"We must change our ways." Jaynme said. "We will have three packs. Each pack will have two alphas, a male and a female, a second in command, a healer, guards, hunters and A'hanaburs (Spirit portals). Each pack will have a certain amount of territory to hunt and live in, things to do and rules to go by (See "Pack life" in the "RULES" section for those rules!). Now we will divide up the packs. twenty of you go over to that Oak tree, twenty of you go over to that Redwood, and twenty go over to the Salmon berry bush over there." The wolves obeyed, and divided up into groups. Each wolf was given a rank, each pack a name and territory. That is the story of how the packs were formed!
